Homeless
Pull up a chair, kick off your shoes and take a listen...
Many songs on his first CD “Homeless” were born from late night jam sessions spent with a dear friend who left us behind too soon, Jim Clemons. Mark uses his songs to visually create a place or situation and his style is inspired by Jackson Browne, James Taylor and more contemporary artists such as Hayes Carll,. Most folks in the south can relate to “The Armadillo” as those pesky critters lurk everywhere. “Half Price Sinner Dinner” got its inspiration from a painting hanging on the bathroom wall at a friend’s creek house. A big thank you for the wonderful lyrics by Pat Snyder. Pull up a chair, grab a cold one and relax to the storytelling songs of Mark Wiklund.
